iTunes 11 is probably nicer for neophytes than earlier versions, but if you had finally tamed iTunes 10 or its predecessors, you have certain ways of doing things... some of which seem to be impossible in iTunes 11. For instance, copying a playlist to an iPod seems to be impossible. You can copy the songs by selecting them and dragging to the right, and then a sidebar appears, and you can drop there. But that doesn't seem to work when you start dragging from the playlist itself.
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ITUNES 11:
You can press ctrl-S or option-S (Mac) and the old sidebar REAPPEARS!
Then you're back in business.
(Another handy feature: ctrl-B turns on the menu bar.)
