I spent most of a year playing with my Digi-Comp 1 while I was in fourth grade. I consider that my introduction to programming.

I also fooled with the CARDIAC computer when I was a kid. The problem with the CARDIAC was that it didn't have any kind of indexing, which is so important to how computers really work.
