Apple II

I didn't really program my Apple ][ much. I wrote some stuff in Basic, and I read the source code for Basic that came with it; later I ran UCSD Pascal on it. Still later I did a lot of writing in Appleworks - that application was an astounding achievement in programming. But mostly I played with the music synthesizer I purchased: the ALF Music Synthesizer. In spite of programming it very little I learned a lot from it; so much source code was available that you could just read and get a feel for programming it. I wrote little things that poked the graphics and drew vectors and I made some kind of car racing game that was really simple. But mostly it was a toy for me ... now that I think of it ... just like all Apple products have been for me. Really great fun toys.
